A rate that does not match the bank's own board is the most useful thing you can send us. Everything else - a missing bank, the API, sponsorship and partnerships, a privacy request - is below, with the address to send it to.
Ways to reach us
Follow the board
What is it about?
Pick the line that fits and we will have the details already.
Each one opens a message with the subject written and the fields laid out. Fill them in and send - an answer needs the bank and the currency, and this is the shortest way to get them into the first email rather than the third.
A rate here looks wrong
The fastest thing you can send us. Every figure on this site is scraped from a bank's own published board, so a mismatch is either a board that moved since our last read or a bank that changed its page layout - and both get fixed the same day we hear about them.
Report a rateA bank is missing
We track the commercial banks that publish a rate board publicly. If yours is not on the list - or has started publishing since we last looked - tell us where the board lives and we will add it.
Suggest a bankAPI access, limits or billing
The endpoints, the rate limits and the free tier are all documented on the developer page, which answers most of what arrives in the inbox. Write if you need a higher limit, a historical series, or something the docs do not cover.
Ask about the APISponsorship and partnerships
People arrive here at the moment they are about to move money, which is a useful audience to reach and an easy one to abuse. We are open to sponsorships, placements and partnerships; we are not open to anything that changes what the board says. No amount buys a bank a better ranking, a softer comparison, or a rate we have not read off its own published page. Within that line, say what you have in mind and we will tell you what is possible.
Talk about sponsorshipPress and data licensing
Rates are free to read and free to cite - name the bank and the date and you need no permission from us. Write if you want a bulk feed, a licence with terms attached, or a comment for a story.
Start a conversationPrivacy, or deleting your account
What we hold and why is set out in the privacy policy. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion, and we act on the request rather than asking you why.

Contacting ET-Forex
How do I report a wrong exchange rate on ET-Forex?
Email [email protected] with the bank, the currency, the figure shown here and the figure on the bank's own board. Every rate on this site is read from a bank's published page, so a mismatch is a bug on our side - either the board moved between reads or the bank changed its page - and naming the bank and currency is what lets us check it against the source in minutes rather than guessing.
Does ET-Forex exchange money or hold accounts?
No. ET-Forex publishes what Ethiopian banks post on their own rate boards and does not buy, sell, hold or transfer currency. To exchange money, go to the bank whose rate you have compared here - every bank on this site is an authorised dealer supervised by the National Bank of Ethiopia. We cannot quote you a rate, reserve one, or intervene in a transaction at a branch.
How can I add my bank to ET-Forex?
Send the bank's name and a link to its published exchange rate board to [email protected]. The board has to be public: this site only republishes rates a bank has already posted itself, with the bank named against every figure, so there is nothing to add for an institution that does not publish one.
Can I sponsor or advertise on ET-Forex?
Write to [email protected] with what you have in mind and we will tell you what is possible. One thing is settled in advance: sponsorship does not touch the rate board. Banks are ranked by the figures they publish and nothing else, no placement changes that order, and no figure appears on this site that was not read from a bank's own page - so an arrangement that depends on any of those is not one we can make.
Where is ET-Forex based?
ET-Forex is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and works to East Africa Time (UTC+3). The quickest channel is email at [email protected]; @etforex_support on Telegram is staffed for shorter questions.
