Best rates for a currency

The four headline best offers for a currency (cash/transactional × buy/sell), each naming the winning bank. Every bank is compared on the same day: today’s board when one exists, otherwise the most recent earlier day that has one (so a Sunday reads as Saturday). A bank that did not publish on that day is not in the running. The date is returned as effectiveDate. Open to anonymous callers.

200: Best rates for a currency
400: Invalid request — VALIDATION_ERROR.
401: Missing, invalid, revoked or expired credential.
403: Authenticated but not entitled — the plan does not include this endpoint or feature.
429: Rate limit or monthly quota exceeded — RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED or QUOTA_EXCEEDED. Honour Retry-After.
500: Unexpected server error.
